The Town of Fort Erie has hired Hetek Solutions to conduct Watermain Testing to assess the water distribution system for potential leaks.
Sensitive listening equipment will be placed at various accessible points, such as valves and fire hydrants, to collect sound data and pinpoint suspected leak locations.
Fieldwork will take place from March 17th to June 1st, with activities occurring during the day from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and at night from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Identifying these leaks will help the Town prioritize repairs and reduce overall water utility costs.
