The Niagara SPCA has a new CEO.
Amelia Canto will be moving into the role for the organization, following a long history of senior leadership roles from hospital foundations to universities. She has extensive experience in philanthropy and partnership development having led major capital campaigns as the President of the Scarborough Hospital Foundation; Executive Director of Alumni, Development and Community Relations at MacEwan University; and as the Executive Director of Development for the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto.
An animal lover at heart, the SPCA says its excited to have her leadership, experience and talents within the organization to pursue construction of a new pet care centre.
