An extreme cold warning has been issued by Environment Canada for all of Niagara.
The weather agency says windchill values could get as low as -35 overnight Tuesday and into Wednesday morning. You’re reminded to watch for for cold related symptoms including shortness of breath, chest pain, muscle weakness, numbness and colour change in fingers and toes.
Officials add that frostbite in temperatures as cold as this can happen in minutes on exposed skin, especially with wind chill.
