Beginning this Canada Day, Ontario motorists with a clean driving record can say goodbye to the hassle of renewing their license plates.
The provincial government is removing the requirement for drivers to renew their plates manually, whether online or at a ServiceOntario center.
With this change, Ontario becomes the first jurisdiction in North America to introduce automatic license plate renewals, as per the government’s announcement.
