Niagara Regional Police are investigating a shooting incident in Niagara Falls.
Officers responded to a home on Ryerson Crescent and Rice Crescent on April 22 at 8:00pm after receiving a belated report of a shooting.
The initial investigation revealed that residents in the area were awoken by three possible gunshots on April 21 at 3:30am, although it was not reported to the police at that time.
A house on Ryerson Crescent showed damage consistent with being struck by gunfire.
There were individuals inside the house during the incident, but no injuries were reported.
A red SUV was observed speeding away from the scene and is believed to have entered the 420 Hwy.
This is an active investigation, and it is believed to have been a targeted incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact the NRP.
