Motorists in Niagara Regional are being alerted about a temporary road closure starting today, until tomorrow night.
Stanley Avenue between Portage Road and Thorold Stone Road in Niagara Falls will be closed starting at 11:00am today, until tomorrow night at 11:00pm.
Work is being done to replace all warning systems at an existing rail crossing. The detour route for the closure is as follows: Regional Road 101 (Portage Road/Mountain Road) > St. Paul Avenue > Portage Road > Regional Road R57 (Thorold Stone Road).
During this time, emergency services will also not have through access.
