Brock University professors are offering free lectures next week on solar eclipses and lunar cycles.
Assistant Professor of Physics Barak Shoshany will discuss the rarity of total solar eclipses and how to safely view the upcoming eclipse on April 8.
Meantime, Professor of Mathematics Henryk Fuk will explore the mathematics behind the Gregorian Calendar and its lunar aspects.
There are lectures Thursday and Friday this week, and they’re open to anyone regardless of knowledge level.
