Niagara-on-the-Lake is gearing up to invest around $400,000 in new parking meters for the Old Town area.
The decision follows a budget presentation where Kyle Freeborn, director of corporate services and treasurer, revealed that the town closed a request for proposals for purchasing new meters on February 15th.
The plan is to review bids, select a company, and begin replacing the machines starting in June.
