Brock University’s Department of Dramatic Arts presents “The Mysterious Mind of Molly McGillicuddy,” a production shedding light on the experiences of individuals with mild traumatic brain injuries.
Written and directed by DART Instructor Mike Griffin, the play employs non-verbal storytelling, physical theatre, and character masks to convey the struggles faced by those impacted by brain injuries.
The production, opening on February 15 at the Marilyn I. Walker Theatre, aims to raise awareness of the invisible nature of concussion symptoms.
A sensory-reduced “relaxed performance” on February 18th and a livestream option for the Saturday night show will also enhance accessibility for diverse audiences.
