Niagara Regional Police in Niagara Falls are investigating an attempted arson.
Police say on November 23rd around 5:00am, officers responded to a break-in alarm at a home on the Niagara Parkway near Marshall Road.
After arriving, they found a door had been smashed, while accelerant was poured all over the floor inside. The suspect fled before starting the fire.
Detectives say the suspect is a male wearing a hoodie with a bandana covering his face, while damage to the home is estimated at $5000.
