A Grinch-like theft hits Habitat for Humanity Niagara as their build trailer disappears from the Fonthill ReStore.
Just days before Christmas, surveillance footage reveals the thief breaking into the parking lot, connecting the trailer to a black pick-up truck, and making a speedy escape.
Acquired in 2016 with backing from the Rotary Clubs of Welland and Fonthill, the trailer featured distinctive Habitat branding and had license plate W26 36M.
The NRP is investigating the incident, urging anyone with information to come forward.
