Enbridge Gas, the Fire Marshal’s Public Fire Safety Council, and Wainfleet Fire & Emergency Services have collaborated to enhance home safety and eliminate fire and carbon monoxide-related fatalities.
Wainfleet received 120 alarms from Safe Community Project Zero, while Enbridge Gas invested $315,000 this year, totaling over 86,000 alarms to Ontario fire departments in 15 years.
These alarms offer early warnings for safe evacuation from fires or carbon monoxide exposure.
Carbon monoxide is a deadly, odorless gas from incomplete fuel combustion.
