The City of Niagara Falls will host a variety of programs for kids and families to enjoy on the upcoming PD Day, Friday, October 6.
The MacBain Community Centre, Niagara Falls History Museum and Gale Centre Arena all have something to offer.
MacBain Community Centre
- Badminton – All Ages – 1:45 pm to 3:00 pm – $5 per person / $10 per family
- Basketball – All Ages – 3:15 pm to 8:45 pm- $5 per person / $10 per family
- Indoor Play Structure – Ages 4-12 – 10:30 am to 7:30 pm – $7 per child / $15 per family
- Table Tennis – All Ages – 2:00 pm to 8:45 pm – $5 per person / $10 per family
- Open Swim – All Ages – Under 4 are free, $4 for youth (ages 4-17), $4.50 for seniors, $5 for adults, $10 per family
- Leisure Pool 8:00 am to 3:45 pm & 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm
- Lane Pool & Slide 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm
Pumpkin Carve at MacBain
Join us on October 15 from 1:00-4:00 for a Pumpkin Carve at the MacBain Community Centre under the park picnic pavilion. Participants will receive a bundle including a pumpkin, a candle, a scoop, a carving knife (blunt tip, serrated), and a sharpie to draft your spooky design! Each registered participant gets one bundle. Registration is not required, but supplies are limited, and registration guarantees a spot! Spooky music and Halloween treats are provided! $15.00 per participant
Mad Science at the Museum
Spend your PD Day at the Museum with Mad Science and some Bubbling Potions! Be dazzled and entertained by their dry-ice spectacle!
After the show, explore the Museum galleries and complete a scavenger hunt.
Showtimes at 11:00 am and 1:00 pm.
All attendees (including adults) must have a ticket.
Gale Centre
- Tiny Tots Skating – 9:00 am to 10:30 am – Rink #2
- Youth Stick & Puck – 11:00am to 12:30pm & 2:30pm to 4:00pm – Rink #2
- Public Skating – 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm – Rink #1
