The City of Niagara Falls is introducing the Municipal Fee Assistance Pilot Program, a financial assistance program for Niagara Falls youth interested in staying active and getting involved in community recreation.Through the Program, residents of Niagara Falls ages 17 and under, whose household income falls below the corresponding before-tax Low Income Cut-Off for their family size, are eligible to receive a 50% discount on recreation programs overseen by the City of Niagara Falls Recreation, Culture and Facilities Department. Each child may apply for assistance for up to four recreation programs each calendar year, one program per season. Qualifying families are also eligible to receive a Free Activity Pass for access to open swim and public skating at municipal locations. Online applications for the Municipal Fee Assistance Pilot Program are accepted year-round at niagarafalls.ca. Hard copies can be made available upon request.
