Seaway Mall celebrating 50th anniversary this weekend

Seaway Mall in Welland is celebrating it’s 50th anniversary this year and to celebrate there will be plenty of festivities over the next two days.

We spoke with Social Media and Event Coordinator Cortney Peters, who talks about how the mall has evolved.

Peters says there’s also ways that people can share their memories of the mall during these celebrations.

Things get underway at 11am today at Centre Court with recognition and awards, a cake cutting, 50 cent specials and more.

Tomorrow, there’s a Backyard Party with contests, souvenir keepsakes, family entertainment and face painting.
