Niagara College marked its 33rd annual gala with two historic donations recently: $5 million from the Myhal Family Foundation, its largest individual gift ever, and $2 million from the Segal Family and GuardMe International Insurance for student programming.
The Myhal gift will support health education through new scholarships and a major campus expansion.
In recognition, the College’s nursing school will be renamed the Myhal School of Nursing.
The Segal donation will enhance global learning through the Be World Ready program.
The gala also raised funds for 34 new scholarships and celebrated the success of the Together campaign.
