
An estimated 4000 prospective students have now seen Niagara College, as the school hopes to sell them on making it their academic future.
The college held its annual Spring Open House over the weekend at both the Welland and Daniel J. Patterson campuses, giving potential future students and their families a look at the campus, programs and student services available.
Vice President of Students, Dr. Chris McGrath, says Niagara College is unique compared to so many other options.
Audio PlayerOne of the things that makes Niagara College so unique from an academic standpoint is its close relationship with Brock University.
Dr. McGrath says there’s hundreds of opportunities for students to go from NC to Brock.
Audio PlayerAside from academics, the college is also known for its strong varsity athletics, as well as being a member of the community not just in Welland and Niagara-on-the-Lake where they have campuses, but across the entire region.
McGrath says that’s something that makes the school so special for those that attend it.
