Niagara Regional Chair Jim Bradley is urging Niagara to embrace resilience in the face of challenges like U.S. tariffs and global trade uncertainties during his State of the Region address.
Speaking to over 400 community leaders yesterday, Bradley highlighted Niagara’s strong U.S. ties and called for civility and mutual respect in international relations.
Bradley pointed to Asahi Kasei’s $1.6 billion investment in Port Colborne as evidence of the region’s economic growth, and also praised local efforts in addressing housing and homelessness.
Bradley wrapped his address by encouraging leaders to stay hopeful and optimistic, emphasizing Niagara’s strength to overcome future challenges.
