Niagara Regional Police, along with the Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement Squad, are investigating the shooting of a dog in Niagara Falls.
Police reported in January that a dog was shot while a suspect, Anthony Angoy, was showing off a handgun. On Tuesday, detectives tracked down and arrested Angoy in Hamilton.
The firearm used in the incident is still missing.
Authorities are asking anyone with information to come forward.
