Niagara Regional Police have arrested a man in connection with a break-and-enter that took place in St. Catharines.
In December, officers launched an investigation after a suspect broke into an apartment near Centre Street and Court Street. The suspect allegedly stole a coin collection valued at over $10,000 before fleeing the scene.
Through their investigation, detectives identified a suspect, and on February 20, police arrested 56-year-old Mark Steeves of St. Catharines. He has been charged with break and enter and committing theft.
The investigation remains ongoing.
