Niagara Regional Police, Niagara Parks Police, Ontario Provincial Police and the RCMP saw lots of success with a recent two-day safety initiative.
Between February 5th and 6th, the police services stopped 618 vehicles resulting in 285 offense notices, and 11 criminal charges.
A stolen vehicle was identified using an automatic license plate recognition system, leading to an arrest and drug seizure.
Additional charges included driving under suspension, driving without insurance, and careless driving.
