The Port Colborne Historical and Marine Museum is celebrating 50 years as a community museum, having first opened on Canada Day, 1975.
To mark the occasion, a new video will be released each month, exploring the history of the museum’s buildings and grounds.
The first video, featuring Terry Huffman, shares the story of the Williams House.
Festivities to celebrate the big 5-0 will start in May with special exhibits, leading up to a 1970s-themed anniversary celebration on July 6, featuring an antique car show, lawn games, food vendors, and live music.
