Time winding down for Federal Liberal Leadership hopefuls to declare as candidates

The Liberal Leadership race is underway, looking for a new leader of the Federal Liberal Party and a new Prime Minister.

We spoke with Aline Lamere with the Federal Liberal Association, who provided us a timeline for the leadership election.

Lamere also broke down who is eligible to vote for the new Liberal Party Leader.

Right now, candidates for the Liberal Leadership include Chrystia Freeland, Mark Carney, Karina Gould, Jaime Battiste, Chandra Arya and Frank Baylis.
