The Niagara IceDogs aren’t going anywhere anytime soon.
This comes after some speculation that the team may be moving to Brantford, which was quickly shot down by owner Darren DeDobbelaer.
DeDobbelaer adds that the goal is still to host a Memorial Cup in the future, and he intends on pursuing that when the time comes.
The IceDogs are off and running in their 2024-2025 season, sporting a 5-1-0 record through the first two weeks. They’re back in action tonight against the Ottawa 67s at the Meridian Centre. Coverage of this game can be heard on Niagara’s New Country 89.1 starting at 6:45pm, puck drop is scheduled for 7:00pm.
