There is certainly no shortage of crop farms in the Niagara Region, and depending on the year – they can sometimes take all the help they can get.
In the region, there’s over 1800 farms (as of 2016), totalling well over 218,000 acres of land between Niagara’s 12 municipalities.
A company that helps crop farmers ensure the best yield possible every year is Twenty View Farms, located in Smithville. Twenty View partners with farms in the region to maximize their crop production, regardless of the part of the season. They offer five essential services including crop planning, planting, care, harvesting and grain marketing.
Through these services, over 200 farms in the Niagara Region every year get help where, and when they need it to make sure their season is as successful as possible. Farming is a business, but many farmers are businesspeople by trade – so Twenty View helps bridge that gap is needed.
