Niagara Regional Police Service detectives arrested a man and a woman outside a motel on Lundy’s Lane in Niagara Falls.
The arrests on Friday led to the seizure of 25 grams of suspected cocaine, 154 grams of suspected fentanyl, 8.8 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine, and over $1,200 in cash believed to be from criminal activity. The drugs’ estimated street value exceeds $14,000.
Michael Pereira, 48, faces multiple charges, including possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of crime. Michelle Ferron, 38, also faces trafficking-related charges. Pereira remains in custody pending a bail hearing on July 6, 2024, while Ferron was released with a future court date.
