The Welland County Speedway and Welland Motorcycle Club are hosting the second annual Battle at the Border tomorrow, featuring flat track motorcycle racing.
Last year’s Champion Doug Lawrence says he’s excited to see so many fans in the stands after a fantastic turnout in 2023.

The event invites some of the top flat-track racers from Canada and the USA, with a $12,000 purse for the winner. In 2023, Canadians took up the top 4 spots by the time the race was all said and done.
He says for anyone that may be unfamiliar with flat-track motorcycle racing, it’s an exhilarating time for all. He says it does come from humble beginnings.
The races start at 6:00pm tomorrow night.
