Niagara detectives have been investigating a fatal hit-and-run that occurred at Sodom Road and Weaver Road in Chippawa on April 8.
The Collision Reconstruction Unit seized a 2007 Black Cadillac Escalade believed to be involved in the incident.
Further investigation led to the identification of a suspect. On May 22, a 49-year-old woman, Tanya Krajishnik-Maillis, was arrested.
She is charged with failing to stop at the scene of an accident resulting in a fatality. The incident left a 53-year-old Niagara Falls man dead.
