In the early months of this year, Niagara Regional Police began a firearms investigation.
That led detectives to an apartment on Harriman Street in Niagara Falls where suspects were identified.
On Tuesday, May 7, authorities executed a search warrant at the Harriman Street address.
As a result, detectives seized 24.7 grams of suspected fentanyl, $350 of Canadian currency, three replica firearms and brass knuckles.
40 year old James McGowan and 39 year old Megan Rousy, both of Niagara Falls were arrested and face several charges.
