Niagara Regional Police are investigating a suspected double homicide in St. Catharines.
The incident occurred around 9 o’clock Thursday morning in the area of Queenston Street and Lorne Street.
Upon arrival, officers found the bodies of an adult male and an adult female inside a home.
One person is in custody, and the case has been taken over by the homicide unit and forensic unit.
Authorities do not believe this was a random act and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
