There’s no denying it – there’s a lot of wineries in Niagara. And we mean a lot.
With such a saturation in the market, there are a number of different ways that local wineries have gone out of their way to stand out – from interactive experiences, to live music. At Hernder Estate Wines, becoming one of the most sought-after wedding venues in the region was their answer.
Angel Fusarelli says for her, getting into the family business as the third generation didn’t happen right away, but she’s happy to be there now.
After a fire a few years ago at their historic barn, which hosted so many weddings over the years, Fusarelli says they had an outpouring of support from hundreds of people in the community, and from outside the region that had been to the venue for a wedding.
