Seaway Mall’s Spring It Forward Food Drive is back once again, benefitting four different local organizations.
Social Media & Event Coordinator Cortney Peters says it started last year, as a way to help as many people as possible.
Peters says in addition to support from the community, they also see a ton of support from tenants of the mall during this event.
The food drive benefits The Hope Centre, Open Arms Mission and Holy Trinity, while items will be collected to fill a vacant unit starting on May 1st.
On May 4th, a larger event to collect donations will be held at the mall as well.
