The Town of Fort Erie has collected over 16,000 donations by distributing ISO-certified solar eclipse glasses ahead of the Total Solar Eclipse.
Fort Erie collected food and personal items for those facing hardships in the community.
The town surpassed the initial goal of 2,500 donations within the first week of the eight-week campaign.
These donations will benefit individuals and families experiencing food insecurity and lacking access to essential toiletries in Fort Erie.
