Day two of the OHL draft continues with the IceDogs selecting Charlie Hotles with a round 6 pick, number 113 overall. Hotles is a 6’1-172 lbs center from the North York Rangers.
At 123, Niagara gets Chase McDougall, a winger from Huron-Perth in the 7th round.
Round 8 featured two on the backend with Brady Real from the Soo at 159 and Mateo Craievich a pick later from Elgin-Middlesex.
Matthew Ross, was selected in the 9th round, he’s right shot winger from the Oakville Rangers program. At 181, still in round 9, the Dogs went local with Reece Matier of Thorold, a left wing from the Niagara North Stars.
After a break, the IceDogs will select first with pick 183 kicking off round 10.
