Niagara Parks estimates about 200,000 visitors took in the total solar eclipse yesterday in Niagara Falls, with about half of those in Queen Victoria Park.
This comes after earlier estimates of the crowd were originally thought to be 30,000 to 50,000 people, despite one-million viewers being expected at one point.
A state of emergency that was declared by Niagara Regional Chair Jim Bradley has also been rescinded.
