Ahead of the April 8 solar eclipse, Niagara Parks, Niagara Falls, and Fort Erie have announced a traffic plan to manage expected delays.
The Niagara Parkway will be closed to vehicles from Queen Street to Fraser Hill, and Clifton Hill from Victoria Avenue to Falls Avenue will also be closed, among other closures.
Public transit options like WEGO and special event services from GO transit will be available, as officials anticipate increased traffic over the weekend leading up to the eclipse.
Guests are advised to bring cash as cell signals and electronic pay systems may be compromised.
