Niagara Regional Police are cautioning residents of rising auto thefts in West Niagara.
Since late January, 14 vehicles have been stolen in the area.
Four were unlocked with keys inside, alongside valuable items. You’re reminded to always make sure not to leave valuables in your car, and if you do, make sure it’s locked and that they are out of sight.
Authorities suspect an organized criminal group targeting SUVs, trucks, and luxury vehicles. On January 29th, three Ford F150 trucks were stolen.
