After a major housing announcement in St. Catharines last week, MP Chris Bittle is stressing the importance of working collectively to make these projects happen.
The announcement was made by the Federal government and the city last week, which Bittle says is was an important one.
Last week, it was announced that an agreement has been made to build nearly 700 housing units in the next three years.
Bittle says the seeds for this were planted months back.
The project is backed by the Housing Accelerator Fund, with a $25.7-million investment, the deal aims to eliminate obstacles hindering swift housing development.
