The Ontario government is committing over $1.7 million to combat hate-motivated crimes province wide.
Over two years, the Safer and Vital Communities Grant program will distribute the funding, supporting the province’s initiative to foster safe and inclusive communities.
Successful applicants stand to receive up to $85,000 annually to address hate crimes.
Interested parties can access SVC Grant applications through Transfer Payment Ontario in late January, with a deadline set for February 26.
