Don’t put away your boots, scarves and gloves just yet – snowy and frigid winter weather may be late to the party but January will see a return to more of what we’re accustomed to.
That’s the word from Environment Canada senior climatologist Dave Phillips.
Phillips reminds us that the last mild winter turned nasty before all was said and done.
While a potential winter storm forecasted for early next week, temperatures will remain relatively mild…for now.
Phillips adds it’s difficult to predict what spring will look like.
The region is due to get a mix of snow and rain this week.
