St. Catharines MPP Jennie Stevens is taking the voices of hundreds to Queen’s Park as her motion for publicly funded, universal contraception heads to debate.
The motion, tabled on International Women’s Day 2023, will be supported by testimonials from those who wrote to the Ontario NDP in favor of the initiative.
Stevens emphasizes that passing the motion is crucial for gender equity, empowerment, and affordability, with potential health system savings of over $76.9 million annually.
