The Ontario government is enhancing access to primary care, particularly in northern and rural regions, by increasing training spots for nurse practitioners.
Collaborating with universities, 121 new positions have been added to the Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner Program.
This initiative, aligned with the Your Health Plan, brings the total training positions to 321, moving closer to the goal of 350.
