Niagara Health received recognition from the Ontario Health Trillium Gift of Life Network for exceptional organ and tissue donation efforts in 2022/23.
They secured the Hospital Achievement Award for the fourth time by surpassing the 63% conversion rate target set by the provincial network.
In the same year, 16 organ donors at Niagara Health facilitated 41 organs for transplant, saving 37 lives, along with 97 tissue donors making a positive impact.
