NIAGARA REGION – Motorists are cautioned about an upcoming “full closure” on the QEW in Burlington.
The Ministry of Transportation has revised the Burlington Skyway Niagara-bound closure scheduled for this evening to tomorrow, Saturday October 21. Weather pending in regards to this date.
This closure includes the full shutdown of QEW Fort Erie-bound lanes beyond Northshore Boulevard south of the Burlington Skyway, along with the closure of on-ramps from Northshore Boulevard, Plains Road, and Fairview Street. The collector lane split at Eastport Drive on QEW Niagara-bound will also be closed.
