An event called Thunder River Bikefest is returning this summer. The charitable organization raised $30,000 in less than 24 hours last year for 7 charities in the Niagara region. This year the charities that will benefit from the event are Pathstones Mental Health For Children, Veterans Community Outreach,Birchway Women’s Shelter and Niagara Area Children’s Assistance Program. The event will be held at the Welland Fairgrounds on August 12th and 13th, from 10AM to 11PM both days, and will feature motorcycle games, live bands, patio bars, penny sale, 50/50, kiddie area with pony rides and bouncy castle, face painting, show and shine, swap meet, motorcycle for sale area and much more.
