With May being Museum Month and Thursday being International Museum Day, Niagara Parks has announced that for the first time since the pandemic, all four of its heritage sites will reopen for the season, seven days a week, beginning on Saturday, May 20. Guests will be able to explore pivotal moments in our nation’s history all along the Niagara Parkway, starting in the south with Canada’s bloodiest battlefield at Old Fort Erie, then on to Queenston to visit the restored homestead of Canada’s most famous heroine, Laura Secord, followed by the home of rebel publisher William Lyon Mackenzie to learn about 500 years of printing technology and continuing on the Parkway to McFarland House, including the beloved Conservatory Tea Room. All four heritage sites will be open seven days a week from 10am to 5pm. The hours of operation for the Conservatory Tea Room vary depending on the day of the week.
